Ah Ha I caught you. I was cooking dinner and Leia had wanted to play in the sprinkler. When I came to get her because dinner was almost done this is where I found her. Playing in the mud. She told me she was baking me a chocolate pie.I swear I will never have grass grow here. Between all the kids and dogs digging in this area it's a good place to break a leg. I keep raking it back in and then the dogs normally dig it all back out.Plus the kids love digging and playing in my dirt.

What a muddy mess

Priceless.
Leia found this caterpillar. It is very strange looking.Mainly white with little red dots and funny long hairy antennas and a tail with a red head.I told her It might be poisonous I don't know. I put him out front away from the garden just in case he was hungry.

Priceless.
Another view of my raspberry bushes that I bought.

This is from my blackberry bush.
This is my Lavender. It is starting to get the little purple flowers.
Wow look at my Calla Lilly.
This is my zucchini plant. Man is it taking over.I'm worried I didn't plant it in a big enough area. It dwarfs my pepper plant which is next to it.
My blueberry bush is just loaded with them. I put netting up on them last week. I figure the birds will still figure out a way to eat them before I even know what happened.I know this sounds strange. I want a guard cat. Yes one that will chase off all the critters that will eat my berries and dig up my garden. like I need another pet. A BB gun might be fun too, HA!!!

I had noticed some squirrels in my garden near my strawberry plants so I went to shew them away. I knew I had 2 green tiny buds of strawberries, but when I checked on them yesterday I discovered that I had about 10 of them slightly turning pink.

Check out how big my cherry tomato's are getting.
These beans I don't understand. They've been in the ground for over a month and have stayed the same height. They are pole beans I went and looked at the package. I have one volunteer pole bean, the same one as these, that I have in with my blackberry's by accident and it is shooting up like wildfire. It's the one that I have trellising on the white fence in a different post
This is a close up of the beans that I planted last week. I can't believe that they are this big already.

This is my bean umbrella pole. I just planted those beans not even a week ago and they are sprouting up.I can't wait to see what it will look like covered in a canape of beans and leaves.

My corn is shooting up pretty tall I have about 20 of them popping up so I hope that's enough to pollinate.
I know I know I couldn't resist. I bought 2 raspberry bushes the other day. I just have to figure out where to plant them because they are full of briers.
I bought a few cucumber plants. For the first time I bargained the sales lady to give me a discount. They were the last pack of cucumbers at the BX and they were pathetic looking. It was a pack of 6 and in each section there were 2 plants growing in almost all of them. Most of them were dying or not even there. I technically only wanted 2 anyway so I didn't mind that most of them were dead. They were normally 2 bucks and I got them for .75 cents. I know it's not that huge of a thing, but I was proud of myself. Plus I brought 2 of the wilted ones back from the dead so now I have 4 plants.
I have a tomato growing on another plant.

This is the second day that I've noticed D standing in the same spot intent on watching the ground. He tilts his head like he's listening to something and sometimes his head jerks real fast to one side and then the other. I cautiously walked over there yesterday thinking a snake was on the ground. I didn't see anything.I have noticed in my front yard I have mole tunnels so maybe that's what it is.
