this only happens to me

So I freak out that I don't have much of a job now I have a zillion jobs. I currently still have the surgery center job,Ct job,MRI job,possibly Dr. Shores one day a week job and now X-ray at Gulf coast wants me a few times a week during the day and so guess what Happened. Chris P. Quit the MRI job Today. He just walked out. He didn't seem upset today or anything. I had a meeting to go to and next thing I know he walked. He took all of his things and said he wouldn't ever be returning. So I will probably get a bunch of MRI hours now. BUT IT STILL WOULDN'T BE FULL TIME. ACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MUSTANG SALLY

My sweet dear mustang is now SOLD!!! It is sad to see it go. I do love that car, but it is time. We have had her 12 years and she really has been great. I have grown attached to her. She only had 130,000 miles and one transmission on it.( And countless of other parts.) Not bad for a 14 year old car. The couple that wants to turn it into a race car is going to buy it. We are going to try to roll everything over to them tomorrow. We are going to get a $1,000 for it.So we will put that towards paying off the truck. I can't believe we sold it that fast. But then again it is a great car to the right person who knows how to work on it. Steven definitely knows how to do that.

OH the smell of a new car.

I finally bought a new car. It's a Honda Accord 2 door. It is Silver with charcoal interior and tented windows. All I care about is Number one it runs and it has AIR CONDITION. Finally at last. I've put up without air for 2 years. We have gotten it repaired 3 times and each time it's over a thousand bucks so It wasn't worth getting it fixed again. And I now have music to listen too. The radio went out on the mustang. NOW I have CD player so I went out and bought a CD. It was funny the sales man was trying to get us to buy the more expensive version and was saying it had a 6 CD disk changer and I had to laugh and say well I don't even think I own 6 CD'S.I know we live in the ice age. We just listen to the radio. Chris and I have been cleaning up the Mustang. Not even 30 minuets after buying the new car someone wanted to buy my Mustang. Actually I know 3 people who want it. 2 want it for their kids and one wants to turn it into a race car. AND we even told him it was a 4 cylinder. But he wants it for the body and wants to put a different engine in it and a hood scoop ETC!!!!!!!!!! They will be here shortly.So enjoy the last pictures of it and pictures of the new one. Leia started her morning as she says in a grumpy frump. She didn't want to wear her uniform,she said she was ugly in it and that her friends would make fun of her. Since when did she become aware of things like this. She never has cared what she wears.

Chris got to see her at school shortly after she got off of the bus. He took a picture of her Teacher Mrs. Mader and a picture of story time. He only took 2 pictures of her but I took about 10 on my camera. I just have to use it up and get it developed and 10 weeks later I'll be able to post it. HA!!!
She made me the most heart warming gift. It is a cut out of her hand in sign language for I LOVE YOU with a heart on it. They had read a book called THE KISSING HAND by Audrey Penn and anyway it's about an little raccoon leaving home to go to school for the first time and the mother shares a family secret the kissing hand. So she kisses his hand and when ever he missed her, he would put that hand up to his cheek for a kiss. So the the kids made the parents a kissing hand, so when we miss our kids we have their kisses on that hand. It melted my heart.
She had a good day at school. She had gym , art class,reading circle,recess and much more. She said this morning she couldn't wait to ride the bus and I asked her why and she said she wanted to see what it smelled like. To see if it smelled like daddy's truck. She later told me that the bus stinks. I wounder if she thinks that about Chris's truck too! HA!!!

I'm fixing to take her out to dinner. Chris is sleeping and I don't feel like cooking tonight. love to all.

this could be a soap opera

My goodness the luck that we have. Thursday I got offered another job just as soon as I was expecting the CT job. Anyway long story short I will still take the CT job and I am questioning about working the C-arm with 2 of the local Dr's .I like both of them, they know what they are doing. It would be the same thing that I am doing at the Surgery center but with 2 great Dr's in their office. But yet again the 4 days off sound good to me too. So that one is up in the air. I got a call yesterday and on Thursday I am going to get the ball rolling on the CT job. YIPPEE!!! Here comes the crazy part. My refrigerate took a dump and we had to rescue the food by putting it in coolers. Just what you want after spending 200 bucks for food,for it all to go to waste. We saved most of it. The the air conditioner froze up the same night. It was like 90 degrees in the house. Then yesterday after doing all of my errands I stopped to get gas and my car died. I could just scream. Luckily the repair man fixed the refrigerator, the air conditioner became unfrozen and after 15 minuets I finally got my car started. It is time to get a new one. I was just waiting to make sure I started the CT job and they called to get it started so I guess this weekend or maybe even today I will be getting a new car. YIPPEE. It's only 14 yrs old. It's been a great mustang.
Today is Leia's first day of school. She is all excited. She is going to be wearing a navy blue skirt and a white polo shirt with her Mary Jane shoes. She is growing up so fast. I better get going I have to get her up and ready for the day.Love to all.

Chris and Jean

It's been a busy week. Chris and Jean were down for vacation,Leia's getting ready for School, me changing jobs and Chris working his 2 and we're still kicking.just tired We took Leia to the beach today and we were going to take her to put-put but it started to thunder and a bad storm was fixing to blow through so we came on home. The ocean water was hot like bath water so I expect to start seeing a lot of hurricanes and bad ones. It's not even refreshing to get in and the jelly fish and seaweed are every where.

I Believe

I believe I just accepted the CT job. I still need to dot the I's and cross the T's. I spoke to Glenn today and he said he would get with Tracey in Human Resource's and get my paperwork and things ready. $22 bucks an hour without benefits. That is very low pay for the job.Which totally stinks but it was going to be like $15 with benefits. Not that I used them medically, but it was nice to get PTO and overtime Not to mention time and a half for holidays. But I figure with the extra cash it will make up for it. SO I will be working 16 hr shifts on Saturday and 14 hr shifts on Sunday. I told him I couldn't do call on third shift for obvious reasons of Chris being gone, and he said I would be put on one week each month but that they understood that I couldn't take it and that it would be picked up. I just hope he's right. I found Leia a babysitter She can watch Leia from 6-12 or 6-2 depending on Chris's work. Plus I have my Friday at MRI job and unfortunately I might have to still work the Wednesday job. It would pay for the daycare. Chris is leaving for the police job so I have to scat.

CT JOB

OK I know I keep writing about this job. I am scared to death of taking it but I am ready for the leap. I found a babysitter who can watch Leia 6 hours on Saturday giving Chris time to sleep from the night before of doing the cop job. He won't be able to do it Fridays and Saturdays now but he's willing to compromise with me and do it every Friday night. I am going to call Glenn My old boss and see if he still has it open because it's been over a week since he's offered it to me. I had a lot of issues to iron out before I could say yes. Chris isn't happy about it,but If I don't take it here shortly I won't have any job to speak of. I don't consider working 12 hrs a week a job.I'll keep you posted.

job update again

I haven't heard anything else from the travel MRI job, It didn't sound all that great anyway. I just need a job. I was offered the CT job at Gulf Coast Yesterday and I told him I couldn't do it because it was originally work 16 hour shift sleep at the hospital because I would be on call for that night and then work another 16 hr shift Sunday. So he said he would change it for me to a 16 hr shift on Saturday and no call so I could go home to sleep and work a 14 hr shift so I could be home so Chris could leave for work which is by 9:30. I want to take it but Chris still doesn't want me to take it. Chris P. Walked out of the MRI job on Thursday and Friday when I worked there he told me he was considering on walking out for good. So I keep hoping for that job to open up to give me more hours. Glenn my old boss had also said he was trying to figure out how to get me back into the x-ray job if I didn't take the CT. So hopefully in the next month i will have a stable job and won't have to be freaking out about it. Not much has been happening around here. I have been working a lot. I pulled a 15 hour shift the other day and it has taken me 2 days to recover from that with no sleep. So again I don't know how I could do the 16 hr shift and the 14hr shift. I was so so so tired.
We went out to the movie UNDERDOG. It was OK. I would save the 20 bucks and just rent it. Leia loved it though and that's what counts. This morning she is repeating some of the quotes from the dog.
Well I am going to skedaddle. I need to get dressed for the day and might go hit a few yard sales. I haven't done that for awhile. I am always on the lookout for kid clothes. love to all.
