Leia's first day at school

Leia started her morning as she says in a grumpy frump. She didn't want to wear her uniform,she said she was ugly in it and that her friends would make fun of her. Since when did she become aware of things like this. She never has cared what she wears.

Chris got to see her at school shortly after she got off of the bus. He took a picture of her Teacher Mrs. Mader and a picture of story time. He only took 2 pictures of her but I took about 10 on my camera. I just have to use it up and get it developed and 10 weeks later I'll be able to post it. HA!!!
She made me the most heart warming gift. It is a cut out of her hand in sign language for I LOVE YOU with a heart on it. They had read a book called THE KISSING HAND by Audrey Penn and anyway it's about an little raccoon leaving home to go to school for the first time and the mother shares a family secret the kissing hand. So she kisses his hand and when ever he missed her, he would put that hand up to his cheek for a kiss. So the the kids made the parents a kissing hand, so when we miss our kids we have their kisses on that hand. It melted my heart.
She had a good day at school. She had gym , art class,reading circle,recess and much more. She said this morning she couldn't wait to ride the bus and I asked her why and she said she wanted to see what it smelled like. To see if it smelled like daddy's truck. She later told me that the bus stinks. I wounder if she thinks that about Chris's truck too! HA!!!

I'm fixing to take her out to dinner. Chris is sleeping and I don't feel like cooking tonight. love to all.
