Leia will be OK. She has a childhood disease called fifth disease. Supposedly it's common and about 50 % of kids get it. Leia has a bad case of it so maybe that's why she looks like she has the plague. It gets worse when she gets in the sun, gets hot,or gets stressed. The other 2 or her main problems. WE LIVE IN FLORIDA AND IT'S SO HOT HERE!!!! The Dr. said it's a good idea to keep her inside as much as possible for the next 3-4 months. GEESE she wants to go to the parks and go swimming this summer plus the beach. I know we can't keep her inside all summer, but we will do more things inside. She gets bad even if we go outside and walk the parking lot to get to the store. He teachers at the Youth Center freaked out. Not all of them were informed about her condition and when she got off the bus she was covered head to toe in rash. I got a panicked phone call about it and I had to explain what it was. I can't believe 3-4 months of this. I feel bad for her because when she gets really hot it looks like she has the plague. tonight she looked better until I gave her a slight warm bath. She's broke out again, but it's not so bright red. She is acting fine and just being a kid.Luckily she's not contagious and can still go to school and daycare. I wouldn't know what to do if she couldn't go. school is out tomorrow. I'll post some pictures of her last day.
love to all. Remember Leia will be OK nothing to worry about.
