Today we rented a fishing boat and finally were able to get out on the water. We were suppose to have it 7:30-2:30 but around 9 a very bad thunder storm blew in. We made it into port just fine and turned tin the boat. They said it would pass and that we could still keep the boat. But we felt much safer on land. The water was getting choppy for that little boat and there were more black clouds in the sky so we gave it up .Boo Hoo, That was our anniversary present to ourselves. I hope it's not an Oman. Just kidding. We did have a good time on it. It was nothing like our boat,our boat is way better,Well When it ran, HA!!!! It's been 3 years since we've taken a boat out and it was so nice. We got to get close to the dolphins and saw a momma and her baby. Darn camera was to slow to get a picture of it though. Once they figured out we weren't there to feed them they high tailed it.They were so beautiful. We saw more dolphins as we were speeding in to safety so we didn't get to see them much. Chris went fishing and caught 2 fish. They were little guys.8-9 inches. If he tells you a wild fish story of them being big I'm going to post there pictures. He did catch something huge and it dang near broke the poll in half. Actually Chris said it almost pulled him in ,but some how after mid real it came off the hook. Chris was so disappointed that he didn't get to see what it was.We tried to beach it ,but by the time we got it anchored the sky was looking bad quick and we looked in the water and there were purple jellyfish with long tentacles. Chris and Leia got in for just a few pictures and hoped back in the boat. Notice they were on land not in the water. Anyway overall it was a good time. I wish we would have been able to stay out later. Another storm did roll by so it wouldn't have been a good thing to have stayed out there. Another thing that I did was take Dramamine and for the first time I didn't get sick while out on the boat,but man o man it made me tired. From 10 - 3 I slept. I couldn't keep my eyes open. I looked at the bottle and sure enough it says on it will make you drowse. I feel like I've wasted all Saturday away. I told Chris we'd go fishing tonight if it's not storming.
