We went to Blountstown last night to see some fireworks. It was well worth the drive. It was such a great time. They also had free hot dogs, popcorn, soda, slushies, chips, etc.... Free fun things for the kids it was great. They had a great band playing it was perfect. We had the best seats too. Chris had asked where they were shooting off the fireworks and we found a place all away from the crowd and it was like they were putting on the fireworks for only us. Beat that Panama city. HA!!! We are going to drive down to Port St. Joe today for there festivals. It sounds like it will be more fun than the others around here. On the itinerary will be a treasure hunt. The kids dress up as pirates. They have many pirate activities going on today,they also will have pony rides, bouncy things, crafts, food,music,a light/decorated boat parade,and of course fireworks. It sounded more kid friendly than the one on the beach in Panama City.Plus not so crowded.It starts around 10 this morning so we'll head down after awhile. This morning the girls are getting an early Birthday present. We found these really cool bikes for the kids. It's not your normal bike. I'll send pictures of it later. It's hard to explain. Not your conventional bike. Different wheels,handlebars,and yes a water tank in the back and a water squirted up front. It's called an H2O bike all terrain. the kids will have a blast with them this morning.Friday, July 4, 2008
Happy 4th OF JUly
