FRUIT CAKE

Leia not in a smiling mood.I don't blame her. Mom was leaving for back home. We had such a wonderful time while she was here. I can't wait to see everyone in a few months. Time is flying by. Cheese
Mom helping me make fruit cake. I couldn't be out done by my sister. We were going to make both to compare the 2 but I forgot the cream cheese at the store. So we only made mine. I was interested in comparing the 2 since I LOVE MINE SO MUCH. It must be a twin thing .I didn't know that she liked them too.I am a closet fruit cake lover. Scared if anyone knew that I liked it they would think that I was fruity, nutty ,or just plain lost my head.I can say that I probably am all of those above ,but not just for liking fruit cake. There I just had to get it off my chest. HA HA!!!

Some of the players. Note Only get one container of the fruit. 1 was plenty.

Drool Drool Yum Yum!!! Don't eat right away. The longer they sit the better they are. Needless to say 1 of these is already gone. (I gave my neighbor half) the rest will sit and get better with time. They might last until Christmas but I doubt it.

I know Kelly just posted about a fruit cake. I am pretty sure hers is mouth watering delicious especially since it has cream cheese in it. I also love Fruit Cake and have a great one too. They are so easy to make and so so so yummy. This one's Not a hard brick that tastes bad like the store ones. Those are gross.
My Fruit Cake

1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped nuts (OPT)
1 cup dates
1 box of cake mix w/vanilla pudding in the mix. (very important)
1 sm box of vanilla pudding
4 eggs
2/3 cup of veg. oil
Mix cake mix, pudding, eggs, and oil with the mixer at med. speed until moistened.
Add all of the other ingredients by hand and gently mix. Bake at 300 degree. Makes 3 small loaf pans cook for 65 min to bundt pan 90 min.
