Sesquicentennial State Park

Leia wants me to make a note that she is not wearing a cape. This butterfly followed us for a little while.
This was such a pretty park. I'd love to come back when it cooler and do it again.

There were lots of nice picture opportunities.

A man made waterfall.

I had to take a picture of the spelling of this park because I knew I'd get it wrong. Off we go into the wild blue yonder. Our very first family hike.

The little lake that we hiked around.

The wonderful smell of pine trees :)

This was before we took the trail. We walked about a mile before we came up on the trail. We originally were only going to walk part of it and come back. But we ended up doing the whole thing.

I thought these trees where cool.

This was about mid way through. A nice comfy log to rest on.

On another note. School starts Monday so if you don't hear from me we're piled up under books.
