I got a bird feeder from one of my friends here. I haven't had one in over 10 years. I was so happy to get one I immediately put it up. I spread bird seed all over the ground and made a path from the fence up.Only because that's where they hang out. It took them most of the day to find it but once they did they haven't left. Yeah.
I had my eye on this Cardinal and he was working so hard banging his beak into the frozen ground down by the fence. I was like can't they see it from down there. He must be giving himself a concussion from hitting that ice so hard.
We watched and we waited and then around dinner time I looked out and saw that same cardinal had come to his senses and was near my tree by the house. I watched for a good 10 minuets as he ate the birdseed that was on the ground. Then out of nowhere I saw this lightbulb go off in his head (Literally) and he flew to the bird feeder. He was the first to land and eat from it . I was so excited to witness it.

Later I had to pull the blind down so we could get some schoolwork done.I love that my table now has a view.It's just a tad distracting though. But definitely worth it.
When he was nice and full he flew into my tree. so I could take this fantastic picture.
