I made a pot of chili and cornbread for lunch and we at the cake that Lorie brought for me.
I guess this is tradition in Jens family to get cake on the persons B-day

We built a snowman in Jens yard.
We didn't have any sleds so we improvised. First we taped up some box's but that didn't work,then we tried cookie sheets and again that didn't work,So we grabbed the kid mattress that I was going to throw away tomorrow in the trash and it worked nicely. They slid fast down the hill. Notice Leia is holding on to the tag for dear life. I guess she thought that would help her.

We have done about 4 hours of school work and need to do about 3 more. I sent her into the bedroom to read and I came back to check on her I found her asleep. I guess after a hard day playing in the snow wears a kid out. We need to finish a few more things to make it a complete day,but for now she can rest.
I better go move my car. I've witnessed it almost get hit twice now in the last 30 minutes while writing this. A snow plow went by scrapping the snow and I have a feeling there's an ice patch near my car. I've heard 2 horrible screeching of the breaks and I quick look out the window as the 2 cars almost hit my car.
