It's a Dogs Life

Chris has a rule, no dogs on the bed. Well, while he was gone, I wasn't so strict with D. It was nice to have something to cuddle with. He started getting on the bed quietly and sleeping by my feet.Then as the year wore on he gradually made his way up to my head.Well the second Chris got home, one good time of being kicked off of the bed, he didn't return. D is smart. He'd wait for someones pillow to fall on the ground and then sleep on it. Yuck!!! So I got him a dogie pillow to sleep on the floor next to me. He loves it. Well now he wakes up and it's so funny,he waits for Chris to leave and then jumps up on the bed. He's started by my feet again.Well this morning I was sound asleep and Chris was in the shower. D quietly jumped into bed and somehow got himself covered up.Chris gets out of the shower and next thing I know he's blinding me awake with the flash of the camera. I was like what the heck are you doing. He was laughing and showed me the pictures.

Priceless!

On good news, that I'm sure everyone saw in the headlines. The shutdown did NOT occur. Just after midnight things got cleared up. Thank goodness,we were all sweating it. So as of now, things are looking good for us to get a paycheck.
