HOME SICK TODAY

Leia is home sick today. She had a 102.7 temp yesterday afternoon. Motrin is fantastic. It got her fever down.I gave her a cool bath,pedialyte,and some Italian Ice.All is well this morning no fever,but I still keep her home to keep my eye on her.She was up at the crack of dawn so I slept in her bed to doze. I was up all night to keep an eye on her to make sure her fever didn't return.She's up to being her normal self even wanting to go to the park.

busy day

These are pictures from the park I mentioned in the last post. This is Frank Brown park. We had a good day today. We went to the park and fished,played, and just had fun. Later we went to Pier Park and had some good BBQ at a restaurant called Bootleg BBQ. It was pretty good for around here. Then we went to Rocket lane and roller skated and bowled. We went back to Pier park For Ice cream. Unfortunately that didn't go as well. Some snot nosed kids ruined it by telling Leia that she was eating leprechaun vomit ( her ice cream was superman ice cream) (( Multi color if you don't know what it looks like)) AND then a few licks into it she dropped it on the ground.She was so upset.We decided to go home.We got home and Leia and I made it over to one of our Neighbors house and the kids got to play for a little while. It's been a busy day. Needless to say NO unpacking got done. These pictures are going to be a bit out of order. When I put a bunch up on this site I get them all mixed up. Oh well Enjoy.

This is part of the water park that they have here. It looks so cool. I can't wait for this summer. Leia will have a blast here. We also went to Rocket Lane. A place that has it all,like a skating rink,bowling,billiards,arcade, and food.We roller skated and bowled. This is Leia on her back getting her skates put on.I all so skated. Man what a work out. And Chris can skate and do tricks. I didn't know he could skate!!!!!!!

This is a great bowling picture. Does anybody realize he has hair??? He's growing it out some. I love it.
Leia whooped our tails. She had 109 points. Chris had 85 and I had 79.I don't know why mine was so low I had 2 strikes and a few spares. I only had 2 gutter balls. oh well.
This is back to the Frank Brown Park. It has a dog park and a dog walk. We didn't bring Ruger there because we thought it might be to muddy from all the rain. Next time buddy.

This is the kids play area. It is great.Opps I erased a few pictures by mistake. I'll reload it. These are so out of order.
They have 2 fishing ponds. One behind the kid play area and one with the dog walk. We took Leia fishing at the bigger one with the dog walk.
With all of the play equipment Leia spent most of her time making a volcano in the sand pit.She's a beach girl.


We got her new sun glasses. She looks like a movie star.

We went fishing hoping to catch the big one. All we caught were sea gulls stealing our bread and the ducks nibbling on what Leia threw in. A few turtles wanted to take the bait but Chris quickly reeled it in. We weren't in the mood for turtle soup. We didn't catch a single fish. Even a minow would have been fine. BUT NOOO!!!!I guess the fish feeder out in the middle of the lake was working. Nothing was all that hungry.
All around this pond is a black top walkway. It was so nice.

Man I still haven't unpacked

Just a cute story .Last night Leia was going to bed. She sleeps with kitty every night.She has since she was a baby.I was kissing her last night and she goes where is my kitty. I need him, he protects me.So I thought I would share some kitty pictures.Enjoy.

It's amazing how much you don't need to exist in a home. My 2 pans and 3 plates I guess get us far.We wear the same clothes and just give the washing machine a twirl everyday. I do wish I had pictures hanging,OH well Another day to do that. Chris worked with the AADD the past 2 nights. (Airman against drunk driving) Friday he was gone from 12-3 in the morning and last night he was gone from 12-4 am. So he is sleeping and we have to be quiet, so no loud unpacking. Oh DARN!!!!!!!!! I think I will take Leia to the park again. She loves it so much. We found a new one where you can take your dog and they have a dog park as well as a kid park. It was really cool .Of course last weekend I didn't have my camera with me to take pictures of it. It is the best park I have ever seen,but it's all the way down on the beach side so it will take me an hour to get down there.

We have been having crazy weather. Lots of storms and bad tornado's.

We had a lot of flooding and some of the roads got washed out. The next day 20 + roads were still closed and all of the school's were closed. Friday was supposed to be as bad as Thursday so they played it safe and let everyone stay home. Thank goodness the Youth Center was open. I had an early day and was home by 2pm,so I got to get Leia right before the Bad parts of the storm hit.

On what is new..... Chris is now on 3rd shift so the best time to call during the week is between 5-8 at night.I started working at Gulf Coast this past Thursday.I finally got my pay check from them. I will be working 4 days a lot because Hal is having surgery and will be out for awhile. On top of the 4 days at MRI. At least I have the weekends off.

2 jobs again

I start back at Gulf Coast tomarrow.I have yet to receive the last 3 weeks pay check from them which is making it difficult around here,but we will make it. Thank goodness we had saved extra for a move. I probably won't work 4 days there anymore. probably 2 which is what I need.It has been really nice only having the one job the last 2 weeks. It's like a vacation for the brain. I slowly have unpacked a few boxes. I have Leia's room back to normal. I just have to hang a shelf in her room and it's done. I unpacked 2 boxes that had dishes written on it,but they were my decorative dishes. I can't locate the every day one's or the pots,pans,or crock pot. I can't wait to find those.We have so much packed into the shed it's hard to find anything.I'm sure this weekend we will takel it.

park

We went to the park today with our friends Stacy,Mark,and the boys. We later went to a nice resterant called Killer Sea Food and had a nice lunch with them. We went to the beach for a few minets to walk the peir . We had a nice Saturday.We are not in the mood to unpack,so our house looks the same. I did go out and buy Leia new room decore though,because we had gooten ride of all of her stuff. We also got her a new scotter. She loves it. We went on a walk before dinner and Leia rode the snot out of it.Maybe I should have gotten the warrenty that they offered!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway things are OK here. Life goes on. I have My MRI job and I will try to get my X-ray job back at the hospital. SoS didn't have enough hours for me to consider it. Oh well. We have been looking at houses and property which we shouldn't do because we found our dream farm for a great price that we can afford.If any body wants to see it it is on www.landandfarm.com go to the Kentucky sight and it is on on the 2nd or third page.It's the white colonial home with 35 acres in Edmonton,ky. I researched the area and is smaller than North Vernon. So I am sure there probably not many jobs there.Oh well. So the location isn't the best but this is what we are looking for.I'll just keep day dreaming.One day hopefully it will come true.I can't seem to get the blog to work properly. I can't upload pictures. I will try again later. Love to all.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

We want to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day.

I am going to try to get an X-ray job at Southeren Orthapedic's where I do MRI. If I can be garenteed 2 days a week there and then my 4 days of MRI I won't have to go back to the hospital. If I get it,it pays 5 bucks more per hour than the hospital. The 2 negitive things are they would have to teach me orthapedic views because they are so different then hospital views. And 2nd I know they don't like to pay overtime,but if they are in a pinch they might consider it.I know I can learn the views it's the over time that might not get me the job.

A bad joke to spring clean

Well I guess we have gotten rid of half of our stuff , packed the rest and cleaned all for nothing. Chris got his orders taken away today. We will not be coming home untill he gets out of the service. We are stuck here for awhile.

Jr. Museam

We went to the Jr. Museam today. I only took a few pictures. I guess we were having too much fun. Leia learning about the tounge and taste buds.
They had a kid grocery shop,a scale,and a register.She had a blast pretending.
This is a mill that they have there.
They have a nature trail there. It was very nice.

I am so sick of this mess that we are in. We don't know if we are coming home or not now. Our house is completely packed except bare minumen we have a truck scheduled for us to pick up and move, our house cleaner set up, our housing date set I've have quit the hospital and have one week left to work MRI and now they are saying theres a 50-50 % chance if we are going or not. Plus if he does go it will be for 2 years . ACCKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
