Last day in Florida for me

I won't be posting again for about 6-7 months so don't give up on me forever. Keep this website saved for later. I am heading back to Indiana tomorrow morning.I am so sad to leave.

What a good day we've had. We went down to Pier Park and walked around a little bit and then went to the new pier and walked the beach a little bit. It was a red flag so only the surfers were out.We had lunch and then hit an ice cream stand for some ice cream.On my camera that I've had for 2 years I learned I could shoot in sepia,black and white,low ,natural ,and high light. Who knew. So I had a good time shooting different styles. I love this on of Leia eating her ice cream.Leia munching on a dino cookie that came with the Ice Cream. She will not sleep tonight.

It was a stormy day so the surf was rough. Only surfers we out for the big waves. I couldn't believe they had this young kid 12-13 yrs old as a life guard.He was with the other life guard but still.

Chris and Leia did the Go-Carts. Leia loves this so much.

Someone has to teach her daddy how to drive it might as well be her. HA!!!

Nothing but grins. She had a blast.

We were at a cool put-put place next to the go-carts. We were killing time waiting for them to open. Leia got to feed some huge coy fish .

I'm just posting a few more times before I leave. I can't believe I have to leave Sunday. My 2 weeks have flown by. I am having such a good relaxing time. I am enjoying my time so much it is going to be hard to go back to Indiana. I will miss everything and everyone so much. Florida is more enjoyable when you don't have to work there HA!!! Too bad my fantastic job that I have in Indiana couldn't be down here.

We went to the pizza pub with my friend Tiffany and her family. It was family night and the kid theme was outer space and aliens. The kids got to make alien hats but Leia wanted kitty ears. She kind of looks like Spock to me with these ears instead. Beam me up Scottie!!!

They got to color .One kid got extreme and took a green marker and colored the wall,table, and worst of all the movie screen. And the parents didn't even watch their kid. I took it away from the kid but the parents didn't even do anything or I don't think even knew.

They are such darling little aliens.

We went to the park. Leia had a good time. But man oh man you can't stay out there long. 45 minuets and your sweating enough to fill the Mississippi.

I'm still getting used to Leia's new haircut.

I tried to get some good pictures by the bay but the best ones turned out to be by trees so
I need to brush up on my photography lessons a bit. Plus Leia didn't want to be taking pictures she wanted to play.

Notice that her hair is even shorter than the last blog. I had to get her hair cut again because the next morning when she woke up I noticed that her hair was so uneven and choppy that I had to get it cut again. It looks so much better now.

We went over to Tiffany house and had a blast. The kids enjoyed these tubs so much, who needs a pool???

Boxes can be so much fun.Tiffany is so cool she even colored the water.We always have so much fun together. I will miss her terribly.And the kids get along so well.

We went to the big base pool last night.

Look who jumped off of the diving board. She had done it several times but this one was her last time and the only one caught on camera. I'm sure you can see why. Look at her form..........

She did the biggest belly flop on earth.It hurt her. Her poor little chest was still bright red from hitting the water 5 hours later.

She loves this slide. She easily did it 20 time the 45 minuets we were there.

She is a fish in the water. She loves to swim.

We went to Tiny Town Kid Salon with my Friend Tiffany and her family. Leia wanted to get her hair cut. This is the last picture of her pretty long hair.

This is Emmery,Tiffany's beautiful baby girl. She slept through the whole thing.

This is a cool girl room that they have. They hold party's in here where they do girls nails, hairstyles, and , makeup.

This is the Salon part. It's cowboy theme. All of the stations have video games for the kids to play while they get their hair cut. It's really neat.

This is Luke getting his first hair cut.It was cool they gave Tiffany a certificate with his name on it saying it was his first haircut and they put a locket of his hair attached to it. It was darling

This is Leia saddling up to get her hair cut. Notice she has Kitty in her arms.I was so worked up about the haircut we accidentally left Kitty there. We will be there first thing this morning to get it and pray that some other kid didn't take it home with them or worse it not there.

This is what they cut off originally it's 6 inches,but since she hacked it off so bad in order to make it all even the lady cut off 10 inches to make it look right. Acccckkkkk!!! But the hair will go to Locks of Love.

Leia's hair was to go to her shoulder blades not to the top of her shoulders.

Leia is still adorable as always. I'm in more shock but she loves it. She wanted it that short anyway.

Afterwords I took Evan and Leia swimming at the base pool. They had a blast. Then we meet up with Tiffany and her family again at the pizza place here on base. It was family night so they had Toy Story playing and they had a few kid games,coloring pages and making alien hats for the kids.
