THIS IS IF YOU WERE COMING IN THE FRONT DOOR. THERE IS A SMALL ENTRY THEN THE LIVING ROOM. THE BACK FRENCH DOORS OPEN UP TO A SMALL SCREENED IN PATIO AND A SMALL FENCED IN YARD. YES I KNOW EVERYTHING IS ON BOXES. AGAIN BACHELOR LIFE. WE DON'T HAVE AN ENTERTAINMENT CENTER WHAT WE HAD WAS A DRESSER WHICH IS NOW UP IN LEIA'S ROOM BEING USED FOR HER CLOTHES AND THE OTHER HOUSE WAS TOO SMALL TO HAVE COFFEE TABLES. SO WE'LL GET TO GO FURNITURE SHOPPING WHEN WE GET A HOUSE OF OUR OWN IN 6-7 MONTHS.
ONCE YOU GET CLOSE TO THE FRENCH DOORS THERE'S ANOTHER ROOM TO THE RIGHT. IF YOU CONTINUE TO GO STRAIGHT IT LEADS YOU TO THE KITCHEN, BUT IF YOU MAKE A RIGHT ONCE YOUR IN THE "ODD EMPTY " ROOM ,THERE'S THE 1/2 BATH ON THE RIGHT AND THE LAUNDRY ON THE LEFT. STRAIGHT AHEAD LEADS TO THE GARAGE. IT IS A VERY UNUSUAL LAID OUT HOUSE WITH LOTS OF NOOKS AND CRANNIES.

THIS IS THE SCREENED IN PORCH. IT IS VERY NICE AND IF I LIVED HERE WOULD PUT SOME CHAIRS IN HERE AND USE THIS ROOM EVERY DAY. IT IS SO PEACEFUL AND THE SKEETERS CAN'T GET YOU.

BUT IT DOES HAVE A VAULTED CEILING AND THE MIRROR HUNG LONG WAYS TO MAKE IT FEEL BIGGER.

IT HAS A GAS STOVE AND A BUILT IN MICROWAVE. LOVE THE CABINETS. A MILLION TIMES BETTER THEN WHAT WE HAD.

I HAD A PICTURE OF THE ODD ROOM BUT CAN'T FIND IT. SO IMAGINE A SMALL ROOM FILLED WITH A SMALL BENCH ,MY WHITE ANTIQUE CUPBOARD, AND A SMALL NIGHT STAND. ALL OF THEM HAS PICTURES OF US ON THEM. AND THE WINDOW SILL HAS A BUNCH OF PICTURES OF US AS WELL. I GUESS YOU CAN CALL IT THE MEMORY ROOM.

WE ATE AT THE PIRATE SHIP OUT AT PANAMA CITY BEACH. LEIA ENJOYS SUCKING UP HER SPAGHETTI . IT IS SO MUCH EASIER FOR HER TO DO WITH THAT MISSING TOOTH.

I AM A BAD MOM. I HAD THEM LOOK TO SEE IF HE WAS WEARING BOXERS OR BRIEFS. I DIED LAUGHING THEM FINDING A LEAF. THIS IS A GOOD BLACKMAIL PICTURE.

WE WENT TO THE SKATEBOARD PARK HERE AT TYNDALL. LEIA GOT TO RIDE HER SCOOTER. SHE IS HAVING A BLAST.

WE WENT TO BERRY'S HOUSE ON WEDNESDAY. HE IS THE MAILMAN THAT HAS BECOME GOOD FRIENDS WITH CHRIS. HIS WIFE WAS SO SWEET. WE TALKED WHILE THE GUYS WENT FISHING. THEY TOOK US OUT ON THEIR PONTOON BOAT AND WE ATE PIZZA AND A FANTASTIC SALAD WITH SOME BASIL OF ALL THINGS PUT IN IT. LYDIA IS A CATERING COOK. SHE ALSO MADE THIS VERY YUMMY BLUEBERRY COBBLER AND IT HAD PECANS IN IT. AFTER WORDS LEIA WENT SWIMMING IN THEIR POOL. WE HAD A GREAT TIME.

VACATION

We went to Gulf World for Leia's Birthday Party while down here in Florida. This is Otto the Sea Lion. This is the fantastic high dive team. At one point one of the young men splashed us soaking us to the bone. then his father who was in front of us said he would pay for that. The guy looked like he was going to hit the side of the pool just to get us. We were scarred he broke his neck. Relived that he didn't. This group were crazy and so much fun to watch.

It's been almost 1 year since I've really blogged. Chris has the computer and well I'm down here in Florida and I will finally blog again for a few days. We have been having a blast on our vacation It is so good to see Chris. we have missed him terribly.Here are a few pictures of our trip.

I am going to try to return my computer back to Circuit City. They are going out of business and the Warranty that I bought will almost be void I believe. Since I just bought it I should get most of my money back and I will be able to break my contract with Verizon because It's only been a week. But I have to hurry fast.Sorry to my loyal fans who read my blog. I will get another computer,I just don't know when. Love to all .GOOD BYE.

Hi to all. Diet going pretty well. Haven't stepped on the scales today,but last time I checked I've lost 2 pounds. Had a Dr. appointment today for Ashley. Her tummy hurts after eating. It occasionally has been happening the last couple of months,but has been every meal the last couple of weeks. Turns out it's constipation. WHEW. That's a relief. I was afraid it was an ulcer,but she said that food would make an ulcer feel better. Also she said constipation makes people eat less cause when they start eating the brain sends a signal to the colon and in turn that's what causes the pain.

For the movie goers, we watched Marley and Me the other day. It was very good,but make sure you leave the kids at home and bring a box of tissues. We made quite the scene at the theaters. Leia went a little hysterical at one point. Hits too close to home with Ruger,Tyler,and Sadie. Other then the ending we laughed the rest of the time. The week before we watched Bedtime Stories and it was hilarious. Excellent movie for kids

Today the girls had no school, so took the girls to Max and Erma's after the Dr.'s appointment. They got fancy drinks. Flaming Fizzes.(Sprite, watermelon syrup,and a cherry on top) I told them if they ate almost all their food they could do the ice cream sundae bar. They ate almost everything and got to make the most bizarre sundaes. They have a bathtub full of every ice cream topping you can imagine. I think the girls put just about everything they had on their ice cream. I couldn't resist, I had to take a bite. Let's just say you have to be a kid to eat something like that. After we left Seymour we went to Mom's and hung out, she was making her version of the Snuggies you see selling on TV. The girls call them Ommies. Mom had a cupcake patch to sew on them. I told Ashley she should put it over her stomach so it looks like she just ate it,and I told Leia she should put it on her arm like a tattoo. I was just teasing them but Leia really liked the Idea of a tattoo. Mom at least talked her into putting it down low. Too funny.

What is it about sleeping children that is so irresistible? They look like perfect little angels. Makes you forget about all the squabbling. We started the night out in two different beds. Not sure how this arrangement happened,but while we were watching a movie I heard little giggles and went to investigate. Ashley begged me to let her sleep with Leia. I told them only if they quieted down and went to sleep. Of course I heard many more little giggles and quiet excited voices,but I let it slide. Maybe one day when they get older they'll remember all the fun they secretly had when they were supposed to be sleeping.

We went to Sams tonight and bought a bunch of slim fast. $20 for 32 of them. I don't think that's too bad. I really feel this time together we can do this. I'm really excited about it. For Christmas I wanted a travel mug and Bill got me two of them, one is 52oz. My goal is to drink two a day. If you call and no one answers just try back in a few minuets,cause probably in the john.HAHA!!!
On another note we want to Thank everyone for the birthday presents. Dad made some fabulous ribs, and Mamaw made a wonderful turkey dinner complete with her famous angel food cake. Saving the money for a shopping trip. I'm thinking of getting a pair of NAOTS. Pampered Foot in Seymour carries them, and Amanda swears they are the most comfortable shoes ever. Unfortunately my hospital is real strict on shoes post flood. Not sure why really,who looks at your shoes when they aren't feeling well. Everyone who wears Burks are upset because not allowed to wear clogs. Pretty much can only wear white athletic shoes. Still thinking of getting some to wear the rest of the week and I can get any color I want. Can you believe I am even writing about shoes. I must be turning more into a girl as I get older. At Pampered Foot they scan your feet and fit you to a shoe. I've met this lady before and she's real knowledgeable about shoes. They are in contract with Bill's work and she matched him up with good work boots. Come to find out we've been buying the wrong size for him all along.
Today Bill and I took down our outside Christmas decorations, over the rest if the week will put the rest away. Tomorrow we are going to work on our closet. Even our clothes weigh to much cause the metal hanging system came out of the wall. Clothes everywhere. Might of helped if not stuck just in drywall, don't know what someone was thinking there. Also we are going to somehow get our pool off the swing set. You read that right. We had a wind come up and it is twisted all over it. Thank goodness it didn't hit the Trans AM, truck,or boat. That would have been BAD NEWS. Thank goodness Bill cemented the swing set in cause may have thrown that into vehicles well. Anyway busy day tomorrow,will try and blog everyday.

New Years Resalution

Amanda and I have decided we are going to blog our journey of weight loss together this year. I am hoping this will keep us accountable because I am horrible at journaling in a little book . I have come to realize you can't keep doing the same thing and expect a different outcome. Eating is our addiction and very hard to break. I lost 50 lbs last year and unfortunately have gained 40 of it back in fairly short amount of time, just because I quit watching what I eat at every meal and I quit weighing myself when the battery died on the scales. I now have a battery and am schocked at what they say. Now that Amanda and I will be together more, we can help support each other better. I've thought it over and we have decided to do slim fast in the morning,tuna and salad for lunch, and a smaller portioned size meal of whatever for dinner. I tried this several years ago and lost weight rather quickly,so we'll see if it works again. It is honestly easier to stick to then any other because you can look forward to a yummy meal once a day. Why I got off this diet before was that Slim Fast made my stomach hurt. I am hoping now that they have different ones they won't make my stomach hurt. We'll see. Pictures of us now will come at a later date because i don't want to crash Amanda's new computer with my SD card that has 500+ pictures on it.

Sorry I've let everyone down on keeping up with the blog. I finally got a computer so now I can keep everyone in touch with whats going on here.Chris was able to come home for Christmas which was wonderful. Leia and I miss him so much. It was so hard letting him leave again. we found a house that we both really want but with the economy the way it is I believe we would be smart to buy a cheaper house. Especially with what is going to happen to us is a year.There isn't any houses in the area that I need it to be in. Near Kelly but 30 minuets from work.

Speaking of work. I have landed a great job that I absolutely love. I HAVE YET TO HAVE A BAD DAY.They are futuristic compared to the Florida hospital.They have CR and DR which is all digital and they have a new 64 slice CT Machine and a 1.5 T Magnet and will be getting shortly a Cardio CT machine. I have been asked if I wanted the CT / MRI job when it becomes posted and I told them yes more than anything. So for now I will be working 10 hour shifts 4 days week at night in X-ray and CT. My hours are 9p-7a. I will post my schedule later. It is crazy. I know I work this Monday and Tuesday off Wednesday and work Thursday and Friday. And then the next week is different because I have to work the weekend. It's to early for me to remember it off the top of my head this morning.I am hoping I get the CT /MRI job. I have been let known that there are other people that have seniority over me so keep your fingers crossed. If nothing else if the other people get it then I will ask for day shift X-ray. I am just thanking the stars that I have a job. Especially one that I love. Everyone has treated me so nice. I can't say enough about this job other than it is awesome.

The kids are getting up so I have to get off to make breakfast. Love to all. Amanda
